Dear Readers...

Some of you may have noticed there has been a severe lack of activity in the world of Music In Time. This isn't down to lack of material or music in the world (there's been loads of great releases and gigs in the past few months), more a lack of direction for where this blog was going.

Towards the end of last year I started feeling like a bit of a machine just churning out blog posts and began noticing the blog had turned into something far from what it started out as. I currently don't enjoy writing posts for Music In Time, and I really want to get back to enjoying writing about music.
I never set out with the thought that this would become what it has, in a million years, I receive hundreds of submissions per week, tried posting three posts a week, running events throughout the year, writing for other people, managing bands, running press releases, as well as having a separate part time job.

Music In Time Blog has been a constant for me the past few years and I never thought that it would become something that I tired of, but I did and I have.

Over the last year and a bit, Music In Time has branched out into events and that's consumed time and brain power - as well as the many other things that go into running music events - and I'd much rather get those right than post reviews about music, because it's the events that I enjoy.

So, I guess this is a 'we'll see you again soon, but I just don't know when' post. I might post playlist posts every now and then, reviews etc. for now, however, we have just announced our garden gigs and there'll be more news on live events coming so be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page for those...
